Newsroom

Nothing announced yet.
That is deliberate.

bytblock is a demonstration build, and a company at this stage has a choice between shipping and announcing. When there is something real, it appears here first — and below is the standard we are asking to be held to when it does.

No announcements

This page is not broken and it is not "coming soon". There is simply nothing that has happened yet which you would be better off knowing. Put your address in and the first one comes to you rather than the other way round.

The standard

What we will announce,
and what we will not.

Fintech press releases have a well-known problem: the interesting ones are rare and the rest are written to look like them. Here is the line, in advance, while it costs us nothing to draw it.

  • Funding, with the number in it If we raise, you get the amount, the stage and the names. A round announced without a figure is a figure somebody was not proud of. Yes
  • An authorisation, with its reference The authority, the permission, the date and the register entry you can look up yourself. Regulatory status is the one claim that should never need trusting. Yes
  • A security incident, inside 72 hours Affected users first, everyone else immediately after, and a written account including the part where we explain what we got wrong. This one is not conditional on it being flattering. Yes
  • A partnership that is a conversation A signed contract that changes what a user can do is news. A memorandum, a pilot, an introduction or a photograph at a conference is not, however senior the other logo. No
  • "Exploring", "in talks", "coming soon" Three phrases that exist to convert an intention into a headline. If it has not happened, there is nothing to read, and we will not manufacture something. No
  • A metric you cannot check No user counts without a definition, no volume without a period, no "assets secured" that quietly includes money nobody has deposited. If we cannot show the workings, we keep quiet. No

Press kit

Take what you need.

Everything here is the real asset, not a screenshot of one. No permission required for editorial use, and no need to email us first.

Colour

Click a swatch to copy its value.

Type

  • Plus Jakarta Sans ExtraBold, −5% tracking — the wordmark, and only the wordmark
  • Inter Tight Medium and SemiBold — headlines
  • Inter Regular and Medium — everything else

All three are open source. The lockup SVGs reference the font rather than outlining it, so install Plus Jakarta Sans before exporting.

Please do not

  • Recolour the mark, or place it on a light ground
  • Stretch, rotate or add effects to the lockup
  • Crowd it — leave clear space of one tile on every side
  • Rebuild the wordmark in another typeface
  • Capitalise it. It is bytblock, at the start of a sentence too

Boilerplate

The paragraph, pre-written.

Two lengths, both accurate, both cleared. Use them verbatim and you will not need us to check anything.

One line

bytblock is a Bucharest company building tokenized access to the Romanian stock market, with euro, leu and dollar stablecoins and a card that spends them.

Full paragraph

bytblock is building a way to hold shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as tokens on Solana, backed one for one by shares held with a licensed European depositary, alongside leu, euro and dollar stablecoins and a card that spends either. The company is based in Bucharest and is building inside the European framework, including MiCA and the DLT Pilot Regime. bytblock is currently a demonstration build: no instrument has been issued and no service is live.

Written as bytblock, one word, always lowercase — including at the start of a sentence. Never bytBlock, ByteBlock or BYTBLOCK.

What we can talk about

Tokenization in Europe, the Romanian market, custody design, and why a demonstration build is published before a product is. Founders are available for these.

What we cannot, yet

Launch dates, regulatory timelines, funding, and anything involving a third party who has not said it themselves. We would rather tell you that than say something vague.

Be there for the first one.
